Cronut cu cremă dulce (Versiune tipărită)

Combinație delicioasă între croissant și gogoașă, cu straturi crocante și umplutură cremoasă, rulată în zahăr.

# Ingrediente:

→ Dough

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/4 cup sugar
03 - 1 tsp salt
04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
05 - 1/2 cup warm milk
06 - 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
07 - 1 egg
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Frying & Coating

09 - 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
10 - 1/2 cup sugar for coating

→ Filling

11 - 1 cup pastry cream or whipped cream
12 - 1 tbsp vanilla extract

# Instrucțiuni:

01 - Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
02 - Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
03 - Add the yeast mixture, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well to form a soft dough.
04 - Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
05 - Wrap the dough and refrigerate for 1 hour to ensure proper texture.
06 - Roll the dough into a rectangle and fold it like a letter. Repeat the process 3 times to create layers.
07 - Cut the dough into doughnut shapes and let them rise for 30 minutes.
08 - Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the doughnuts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
09 - Roll the fried doughnuts in sugar and fill them with cream using a piping bag.
